Josh is the youngest man in one of Cloistere's founding families. Unlike his sister's Grace and Katie he doesn't have any magic of his own but that doesn't mean he's helpless. Following the death of his mum he spent time on the road with his uncle, during every vacation from school, learning what the men in the Dupré family got up to while the women did the witch thing. Josh is now a detective for the Cloistere police department, following in the footsteps of his father, hopefully not literally. He plans to survive the investigation into Leila Beaumont's death and not die young on the job like his dad did.
Friends? Josh is closest to two guys he's known forever, Gabe Colt and Alex Fraser. The three are still tight years later but that doesn't mean there isn't room for more friends in Josh's life, as long as they don't mind his suspicious nature.
Enemies? As a Dupré he shouldn't really have many of these in town but Josh knows that all is not as it seems in Cloistere right now. Cops tend to piss people off and a cop with witch sisters has it far worse.
Romance? He'd honestly like to say no, that he doesn't need or want it but Josh is still holding a torch for a woman he slept with once years ago. Beneath his grumpy surface is a man capable of far more relationship wise than he lets on.

Clea might not have been born in Cloistere but in the last year she's certainly made it her home. After years of travelling with her family and living in California for college she thinks she's finally found somewhere to call home. Even after getting her PhD under her belt Clea has continued researching. She knows there's more to Cloistere than she's already found out and she'll never be satisfied with just being the local bar keep. Nosiness comes naturally to her and if people don't like it, well they can just keep their business to themselves when she goes ferreting out information.
